Ina Gardner is writer of many well-known American cookery books. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network, which has been running since 2002. Ina began to write policy and nuclear energy documents in the White House. Although she initially found the position interesting and stimulating but she quickly became bored. Barefoot Contessa was then bought. Her store was extremely successful over the course of 18 years until she decided to let it go. After that, she started the first book. In the following years, numerous cookbooks were published, and she also contributed to magazine articles. Her Food Network TV show also debuted, and was a huge hit. The range of products includes kitchen equipment to ingredients as well as storage containers. Ina herself, a self-taught chef she has never attended the culinary institute or at the hotel. Her name is associated with her casual way of cooking and entertaining.
