Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer who is best recognized in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. In the 1950s, she started her professional career as an actor on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Following that, she performed on Broadway for a number of productions until 1957 in which Li'l abner was famous at the National Theatre. The same year, she debuted her debut music album called It's Tina Time. Louise first made it to Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a drama from 1957. The film was a big hit and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. While students in Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her next unforgettable role was in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying somber rather than the glamour doll image she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 & Sanctuary but she also was an accomplished television director on numerous series, including Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born on the 28th of August, 1965, in Essex. As a young girl, 3, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent in the city for her entire childhood. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived in Vancouver ever since.
