Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She studied at Arnold School in Blackpool. As headgirl, she earned straight A grades in her A-Levels. Discussing her role on Emmerdale Coleman admitted that she regretted that she did not have a traditional University education. Coleman was on Crystal Clear at the Edinburgh Festival as part of a group called In Yer Space, which she participated in during her time at school. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March 2012 press conference that Coleman will be Matt Smith's companion following the departure of Karen Gillan left. Eva is not only an actress, she is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Eva has three husbands and an infant from the third.
