Ariel Winter, born Ariel Winter Workman (Janurary 28th 1998) in Los Angeles California is an American actor, singer and voice actor. The career of Ariel's actor began when she was six when she was featured in an commercial to promote Cool Whip. At the age of 7 Ariel landed her first TV role in an episode of CBS's comedy show Listen Up! Then she followed it up with roles in shows like Monk Bones and ER. In 2007 was cast as Gretchen in the Disney Original Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. Then, two years after that, she was cast as Alex Dunphy for the smash television series Modern Family. She along with the other members of the Modern Family cast have won the Screen Actors Guild Award for the Best performance by an Ensemble on a Comedy Series four times. Ariel continues to do voice acting and voice acting, including characters like ParaNorman Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel is purple belted in Taekwondo. Ariel is the younger sister of Shanelle Workman (actor) and Jimmy Workman (actor). She is a performer who is the leader of her own band WickedSweet.
